Improving remote learning for healthcare workers

Over the past few months our product team has been working with trainers at the Institute of Health & Management (IHM) Zambia to convert existing training PowerPoints to interactive e-learning. This will support remote training of healthcare workers on the use of the SmartCare system (the electronic health records system used in Zambia). To further support remote learning, we have released customisations, developed during the previous phase of the project, to the live SmartCare learning site where e-learning materials will be hosted as soon as they are approved. These customisations simplify tracking of practical assessments, e-learning results and trainees requiring mentorship. We are confident that these developments will support IHM Zambia efforts to improve SmartCare skills of healthcare workers across Zambia.
